Which Young Living Products Contain Nuts?
by Jodi McKenna
Anne Marie, author of one of my favorite food blogs, Cheeseslave, says this as it relates to food allergies,
You can just avoid the food you’re allergic to, but you can’t reverse your food allergy that way. Here’s why: it turns out that food allergies and intolerances are caused by a condition called “Leaky Gut Syndrome”.
Our family has been on a fairly consistent journey of healing various “leaky guts” that walk around our house. How do I know that we have leaky guts? We have some serious autoimmune issues. Autoimmune diseases and inflammation are symptoms of an unhappy gut. If this concept resonates with you, I strongly encourage that you read the book titled, Gut and Psychology Syndrome: Natural Treatment for Autism, Dyspraxia, A.D.D., Dyslexia, A.D.H.D., Depression, Schizophrenia by Natasha Campbell-McBride. While no one in our family has the issues in the title of this book, the content of the book is eye-opening into the area of healing your gut.
Confused by what I mean as I loosely throw out the word “gut?” Your gut is that organ that makes you go poop. Gasp! Your gut refers to your intestines. You could even be so bold as to say, the digestive tract – all the organs involved in serving nutrients to your body.
Nuts are in Skin Care Products
Just because you avoid eating nuts at all costs . . . doesn’t mean that nuts don’t lurk in the products you put on your skin. If you have an allergy, high alert status doesn’t go inactive until that allergy is healed.
So, let’s be upfront.
Most Young Living products DO NOT have nuts in them.
But a few do.
What Young Living Oils Can I Use?
So, I looked at the list and it seemed overwhelming. However, there are so many therapeutic grade essential oils that you can still use . . . Thieves, Frankincense, lavender, lemon, Sandalwood, MGrain, peppermint, Transformation, ginger, Christmas Spirit, Cassia, Thyme, Aroma Sieze, etc. All my favorite oils – you can still apply.
The below list – they represent oils that are blends . . . like lotion, shampoo, massage oil, etc.
Whereas the oils straight from the herb or tree, are still what they always are: 100% pure.

Will You Always Be Allergic?
I have never suffered from a life threatening allergy. Thus, I can not say 100% that one can be cured from allergies. I have done a lot of research on the issue, though, as our family has some serious autoimmune issues. If you struggle with severe food allergies I would ask you to consider looking into the Reversing Food Allergies course. I took the course and learned an incredible amount about food, gut health, and feeding the body what it needs to heal as God intended.
